Players assume the role of Alex Ryder, a pilot whose engines have failed during a covert mission for the Galactic Control Space Defense. With movement limited to the backward propulsion generated by his laser cannons, Ryder faces relentless waves of alien adversaries.

The game offers extensive customization options for both the ship and lasers, featuring over 100 different color combinations. This aspect of personalization adds depth to gameplay, while competing for a position on the global leaderboard allows players to establish their reputation as legendary pilots.
